Welcome and Ultimate Book Tag!

Hey Everyone! My name is Elle and this is my book blog! Here I'll discuss books, authors, I'll do book tags, and if there's controversy going on with things I might make a post on it. Basically, anything book related is going on here. I am in school so some posts might be far apart, but I'll always be working on something. Also if anyone has ideas you can comment them down below! Today we're going to do the Ultimate Book Tag to kind of introduce myself. This was originally made by the Chapter Chicks.

1. Do you get sick while reading in the car?
If I'm reading on my phone, then no. If I'm reading on my kindle, sometimes. If I'm reading an actual book, there's a good chance. If we're backing up or turning or anything like that, then yes I'll definitely get nauseous and dizzy and feel sick to my stomach.

2. Which author's style is completely unique to you and why?
I'm going to do with Laini Taylor. I love her books and her writing is something that I haven't seen duplicated. Her books will always hold a special part in my heart.

3. Harry Potter Series of Twilight Series? Give three points.
Ha, I haven't read either.

4. Do you carry a book bag? What do you have in it (other than books)?
The only bag I have is for school and that has normal, boring school stuff in it.

5. Do you smell your books?
Yes. Yes I do.

6. Books with or without little illustrations?
If they're at the beginning of each chapter, then definitely. They add a little character (hahaha).

7. What book did you love while reading but then discovered that it wasn't quality writing?
I'm going to go with My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick. Now looking at it, I see that the writing isn't as good as other books in this genre, but it's still my favorite book.

8. Do you have any funny stories involving books from your childhood? Please share!
Uhm, my mom would ground me from books because she didn't know what else to take away.

9. What is the thinnest book on your shelf?
Looking for Alaska by John Green

10. What is the thickest book on your shelf?
City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare

11. Do you write as well as read? Do you want to become an author when you're older?
I do also write and I would love to become an author. For right now, though, I'm going to school for my English degree and then library science. I'll see where it takes me.

12. When did you get into reading?
I've loved reading ever since I could remember. My mom read to me when I was little and I just continued as I got older.

13. What is your favorite classic book?
I haven't read many classics, so I don't have an answer for this.

14. In school, was your best subject Language Arts/ English?
Yes, and my worst was math. (Still hate it!)

15. If you were given a book that you have read before and hated, what would you do?
Give it to someone who would enjoy or put it up in a giveaway.

16. What is a lesser known series that you know of that is similar to HP and The Hunger Games?
All the series I know of are pretty popular.

17. What is a bad habit you always do (besides rambling) while filming?
I don't film so no answer again.

18. What is your favorite word?
Onomatopoeia.

19.  Are you a nerd, dork, dweeb or all of the above?
Most likely a nerd.

20. Love Triangle or forbidden love? (I skipped questions because I haven't read books with the characters they were asking about or I didn't really like them in general.)
I love forbidden love. I find it interesting when two people love each other when they shouldn't.

21. AND FINALLY: Full on romance book or action book with little romance?
I can't stand romance so I'm going with action.

I hope you enjoyed this!
